Computer Controlled Local Anesthetic

In order to administer local anesthesia as comfortably as possible, our doctor uses the CompuDent computer controlled local anesthetic system. It is the first major technologic advancement in local anesthesia since it was invented nearly 150 years ago. It represents a state-of-the art method to consistently and comfortably administer local anesthesia with much less discomfort than a traditional hand syringe. Computer chips housed within the CompuDent regulate the flow of anesthesia depending on the gum tissue density to allow for a practically painless injection in any part of the mouth. Dr. Matia has used the CompuDent on patients as young as four years old with excellent results. We are happy to offer this technology to all of our patients in our ongoing effort to make their experience in our office as comfortable as possible.
